Around the Place
Home to a Blue Ridge Setter is the cool air of the Western North Carolina mountains. Right outside the kennel door, our dogs enjoy the picturesque Celo Knob, one of the highest peaks east of the Mississippi. They aren't afraid of the steep terrain in search of woodcock and grouse. Jason and Courtney are locals to this area and love raising a family in this beautiful country.
Our Kennel
An ideal setup for a small breeding operation. Each dog has its own indoor bay and dog house with pine chips, plus its own outdoor run, floored with waterproof composite decking for complete sanitation. Washed out every time they're released and pressure-washed daily. (More photos coming once the underpinning's done.)
Our Ride
We haul dogs a lot, so we needed a safe, clean way to do it. Jason took an enclosed trailer and made it the perfect dog rig: vents and windows on every door, rewired for power and lights, a roof fan for the road, and wind-mover fans so the dogs never overheat. Dakota kennels, a water barrel, and locking storage for gear.
