Don't let her small size fool you, Bessie is a beast in the field, with a hard point and enough range to find birds without leaving the country. She reads cover well and settles right down at home. Bessie is a natural retriever and will return birds to hand. She has lots of stamina and a strong desire to please her handler.

Bessie isn't part of our breeding program, but she's an excellent guide dog and excels at helping people fall in love with upland hunting. She's a true pleasure to hunt behind.
